Short version: Reflex Candles doesn't have accounts, doesn't use cookies, and doesn't send your data anywhere. Everything below explains exactly what the game does store, and where.

What we store, and where

Reflex Candles saves the following to your browser's local storage (localStorage), a feature built into every browser that keeps small pieces of data on your own device:

• Your personal-best average reaction time and streak, per difficulty
• Your best Survival-mode run, per difficulty
• Your theme preference (light/dark) and sound (muted/unmuted) setting

None of this data ever leaves your device. It is not transmitted to any server, because Reflex Candles doesn't have a server or backend — it's a static page that runs entirely in your browser. We (the site operator) cannot see, collect, or access this data.

Cookies and tracking

Reflex Candles does not use cookies, does not use any analytics or advertising service, and does not use any third-party tracking scripts. The only external request the page makes is to Google Fonts, to load the typefaces used in the design — Google's own privacy policy governs that request.

Data from the Contact form

If you use the Contact page, the information you submit (name, email, message) is sent directly to us via your own email client, so that we can reply to you. We don't store or share submissions beyond what's needed to respond.

Children's privacy

Reflex Candles does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it doesn't collect personal information at all.

Changes to this policy

If this game ever adds advertising, analytics, or any feature that changes what data is collected, this page will be updated first, with a new "last updated" date above, before that change goes live.
