Pick a difficulty and hit go. Candles hang from an arc; one drops at random with no warning. Move your bucket underneath it with the arrow keys, by dragging with your mouse, or with touch, before it hits the floor.

They change fall speed, gravity, and how wide your bucket's catch window is. Easy is slow and forgiving; Hard falls fast with a narrow window and little room for error.

Number of candles (4–12), candle size (Small/Medium/Large), and game Mode (Rounds or Survival) — all selectable on the start screen before you pick a difficulty.

Instead of a fixed set of rounds, candles keep coming indefinitely and speed up the longer you last. One miss ends the run. Your best streak per difficulty is tracked separately from Rounds mode.

It's an optional extra: trick candles that look real but shouldn't be caught, plus the occasional camera-flash distraction. Off by default — flip it on if the base game feels too easy.

Yes, locally — your personal bests, streaks, and preferences are stored in your browser via localStorage, tied to this device and browser. There's no account, so clearing your browser data or switching devices/browsers will reset them.
